End of support for a much-loved version of Windows!

Ana sayfa / Windows

Microsoft is preparing to phase out Windows 10. Older packages released for Windows 10 are reaching the end of their lifecycle. The last of these was the 21H2 package. Microsoft has issued a new warning for Windows 10 21H2.

Microsoft has announced that it will end support for Windows 10 21H2, also called the November 2021 Update, on June 11, 2024. This makes sense at a time when the company is pushing users towards Windows 11.

The 21H2 retirement will affect many versions. These include Windows 10 Enterprise, Enterprise multisession, Education and IoT Enterprise. It should be noted that these systems are mostly used in business and education PCs.

Unexpected M4 MacBook step from Apple!

Apple has started work on the M4 MacBook. Following the M3 series, the M4 family will have some significant AI boosts.

Starting next June, these configurations will no longer receive updates. They will also be subject to outdated software issues, making them harder to use. While security updates will continue for another year, it is unlikely to be sustainable for companies.

Microsoft expects all affected customers to upgrade to Windows 10 version 22H2 before next summer. Support for this latest version of Windows 10 is set for October 2025. So after this date, Windows 10 support will end.

Windows 10 continues to be widely used, especially on commercial PCs. However, this move represents the last step towards the complete retirement of the operating system for Windows 11 in the coming years.
